University's 5th grade Talent Show has been MOVED to next Tuesday during the day at the 5th Grade Luncheon due to a low number of students performing. This means there will NOT be an event tonight at Captain Shreve.
Today is the LAST Day for Wristband purchases: https://www.locallevelevents.com/events/details/38715 We expect it to be a muddy mess so please bring a change of clothes and shoes. No bookbags brought to school on your child’s Field Day. Today is Day FOUR of our Booster Fundraiser and YOU have raised over $6,000 for University Elementary. The student that raises the most gets a personalized day with our Principal, Mrs. Atkins! Field Day at University Elementary will be Thursday, May 8th for Pre-K to 2nd grade, and Friday, May 9th for 3rd through 5th grade. This is always a favorite for the children and families.

Did you know University Elementary School has the ONLY Gifted PreK class for 3 & 4 year olds? In order to be in the Gifted PreK children must be screened prior to enrollment at University. Any children who reside in Caddo Parish can test to qualify for the gifted program at University.
